SZA took the stage on Sunday night time (Feb. 4) with a particular medley of her hit songs, ‘Snooze’ and ‘Kill Invoice’.
In her pre-performance monologue, the singer opened up in regards to the course of of making her Grammy-nominated LP, SOS. “I couldn’t determine who I needed to be on this album as a result of I had so many factors to show,” she said.
She continued, “SOS took about 5 years for me to complete and put out. I consulted the water about each side of this album. I by no means really feel nervous within the ocean after I’m swimming in open water. I really like the isolation, the vastness, the vacancy. I undoubtedly really feel like concern and nervousness are part of who I’m. My intense concern is a part of the explanation why I’ve a whole lot of vitality onstage.”
