After sprinting to the summit final week with year-best gross sales figures, Ed Sheeran’s – (pronounced Subtract) is unlikely to budge anytime quickly.

Sheeran’s newest set leads the midweek U.Ok. tally for a second week, forward of batch of latest releases.

The English singer and songwriter’s sixth studio LP gathered 76,000 first-week mixed gross sales, simply the fastest-selling album within the U.Ok. this 12 months, eclipsing the 41,000 chart items shifted by Lana Del Rey’s Do you know that there’s a tunnel below Ocean Blvd.

Bodily copies accounted for 71% of the Asylum set’s first-week complete, the Official Charts Firm reported, with a further 10% from downloads.
