DopeHouse mainstays, and Kooley Excessive members, Charlie Smarts and DJ Ailing Digitz have launched joint challenge CHARLIETAPE.
“Thank y’all a lot. Engaged on this challenge has been a thrill for us,” the pair say concerning the forthcoming drop. “So many buddies and wonderful artists have been welcomed into the fold. We needed to rep for NYC and NC, and make a traditional east coast Hip Hop JAM.”
A 19-track providing, Charlie and Digitz name upon the skills of ninth Surprise, Skyzoo, Von Pea (of Tanya Morgan), Tab-One, and others to function all through. The challenge is led by the singles “Air Max 95,” “Mezzanine,” and “Haters Nameless.”
