Reacher plot breakdown
Reacher follows Jack Reacher, who has recently left the police force.
He drifts from town to town getting his first taste of civilian life. When he arrives in Margrave, a town grappling with its first homicide in 20 years, he is immediately placed at the scene of the crime.
In a struggle to prove his innocence, Reacher uncovers a conspiracy that runs deep throughout the town. As Amazon has stated: “One thing above all is for sure: They picked the wrong guy to take the fall.”

Fan reaction to Reacher
Fans have been delighted by the adaptation of Lee Child’s first novel, with one fan saying: “Just watched the first episode. 10/10. Everything I wanted from a Jack Reacher show.”
This sentiment was echoed by this fan: “I haven’t binged a series like that in quite some time but #Reacher is great. 8 episodes of action thriller bliss. Greate performances, excellent action set pieces and some clever twists. Also Alan Ritchson was born to play Reacher and he absolutely nails it.”
Finally, this fan praised how the adaption stayed true to the original novel, saying:
“Haven’t read many book series in life, but Lee Child’s Jack Reacher series is a favourite. The new Prime adaptation is damn good so far. Alan Ritchson embodies jack perfectly. It’s rare an adaptation’s casting matches my imagination, this is as close as it gets.”
