Graham is known for coaxing candid stories out of guests on his talk show, but even in his personal life he’s not known for keeping other people’s secrets.
“My friends say I’m not a good keeper of secrets,” he says.
He adds that the level of seriousness of the secret does depend on whether he would tell or not, “if it’s someone who would prefer that people don’t know, then that might just be gossip and I may blurt it out after a second glass of wine”.
Graham explained why being around an “inner circle of showbiz” in London through social events was something he slowly retreated away from.
“I’d gone to about two of those parties when I figured out, oh, this is the same party repeatedly, literally the same people at the same party having the same conversations.
“I think people that do [go to all the events], that does scratch some itch they have, and I thought I had that itch, but I realised early on that I don’t”.
