You had a really busy 2023, you launched two EPs, on this ‘Legados’ sequence, began with the bachata one into pop. So I’d love to listen to the inspiration for that sequence. And why did you determine to leap in with bachata?

Effectively, you already know, my story is form of totally different. I’m Irish-American with a ardour for Latin music, which I found in New York and, you already know, have 10 albums now and two HBO specials, a bunch of stuff. And I’m considering what can I do? You already know, it’s virtually like a momentum memento. … This challenge is a sequence, you already know, ‘Legados,’ which is legacies of songs which have impressed me once I actually first obtained into heavy, heavy within the Latin music. And I made a decision in New York, you already know, I’m going Latin, I’m going to create this fusion factor. And I’m not turning again. And so, you already know, that was in New York within the early ’90s. I studied classical piano, Manhattan College of Music. My trainer was in Washington Heights. Washington Heights was this bizarre space as a result of it is extremely classical, you already know, Manhattan College, Juilliard, all this stuff and Dominicans and Colombians and the bachata, salsa, merengue was like pouring out into the road. And so that is the primary songs I’ve heard. I stroll in, I moved from Detroit taking part in numerous Motown. I heard that one which was Juan Luis Guerra. And I heard all these things like, oh my God, that is wonderful. Yeah. So I wished to start out ‘Legados.’ That is like my private, you already know, songs that impressed me since I actually actually, you already know, gotten concerned with latin music.
