Ariana Grande and Mariah Carey‘s “Sure, And?” remix has topped this week’s new music ballot.
Music followers voted in a ballot revealed Friday (Feb. 16) on Billboard, selecting the superstars’ newest team-up as their favourite new music launch of the previous week.
The 2 vocal powerhouses’ “Sure, And?” remix introduced in practically 73% of the vote, beating out new music by Dua Lipa (“Coaching Season”), Jennifer Lopez (This Is Me… Now), Karol G with Tiësto (“Contigo”), Vampire Weekend (“Capricorn”/“Gen-X Cops”), and others.
After teasing a particular announcement by her Instagram Story earlier within the week (Feb. 13), Grande confirmed Carey’s look on the “Sure, And?” remix with a Feb. 14 publish captioned, “Thanks from the underside of my coronary heart for this dream come true and for sprinkling your brilliance and magic on my little track @mariahcarey. [It] means extra to me than [I] might ever presumably articulate and [I] can’t wait for everybody to listen to this! [I] love you eternally!!!!!!!”
Grande and Carey first teamed up for a monitor again in 2020. Alongside EGOT winner Jennifer Hudson, they up to date “Oh Santa!” — a single from Carey’s Merry Christmas II You (2010). That monitor, which delighted followers in its union of two artists (Carey and Grande) which were unfairly pit towards one another previously, got here full with a glitzy music video.
