This week, Billboard’s New Music Latin roundup and playlist — curated by Billboard Latin and Billboard Español editors — options recent new music from artists together with new releases from Ryan Castro, Shakira and Rauw Alejandro, to call a couple of.
Ryan Castro groups up with newcomer Hamilton for “A Poca Luz.” Produced by The Prodigiez, the monitor is a departure from Castro’s signature perreo and dives into the chilliness rhythms of Amapiano laced with home beats. ”I promised the moon that earlier than the solar comes out, she was going to be mine […] my lovely flower that drives me loopy,” Castro sings within the heartfelt track.
In the meantime, Daddy Yankee blesses followers with a brand new track that thrives on a message of resilience and religion. In “Bailando en la Lluvia,” which in English interprets to dancing within the rain, the reggaetón titan fuses his signature percussion-laden beat with a vibrant tropical pop melody as he invitations followers within the lyrics to face adversity with belief in God.
One other new launch comes by the way in which of Rauw Alejandro, who affords the third single from his upcoming fifth studio album Cosa Nuestra, set to reach Nov. 15. “Pasaporte,” in collaboration together with his longtime producer Mr. NaisGai, is a fab, funk-infused dance monitor that captures Rauw’s progressive spirit.
Different new Latin releases this week embody Shakira’s “Soltera,” Rosalía’s “Omega” that includes Ralphie Choo, Oscar Maydon and Fuerza Regida’s collaborative effort, titled “Tu Boda,” Sofía Reyes’ “Bi,” and Ha*Ash and Joss Favela’s “Nuestro Camino.”
