| “On Saturday, July 27, 2024, at roughly 1:25 a.m., a Burlington Officer was standing on publish at Church and Important Avenue with a group service officer (CSO). The officer noticed a male strolling in the direction of them shouting profanity. Because the male walked inside roughly 15 toes from the officer, the officer requested the male if he was okay. The male then closed the space and struck the officer with a closed fist on the cheek. The officer created distance and gave verbal instructions for the male to cease and to get on the bottom. The male advised the officer to do it and that it will not damage him.
