These prices are just about on par with what we saw on Black Friday last year, so you’re getting close to the best prices we’ve seen for Amazon’s premier smart speaker line.
If you prefer the puck-shaped 3rd gen Echo Dot, that’s on sale too for $24.99. If you are a new Echo Dot customer and a new Amazon Music subscriber, you can take advantage of an Echo Dot plus Amazon Music Unlimited bundle to get the smart speaker for only $4.99 with a one-month subscription to Amazon Music Unlimited. The subscription starts at $9.99, with Amazon Prime members getting a $2 discount.
The 4th gen Echo Dot has a new sleek and compact spherical design with a 1.6-inch front-firing speaker. With Alexa, use voice control to manage compatible smart home devices like lights, smart plugs, thermostats, and more. Set timers, reminders, and calendar events just by asking Alexa. Play your favorite music through compatible music-streaming services like Amazon Music, Spotify, Apple Music, and Pandora. The Echo Dot supports dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 and 5GHz) networks. It also includes a button to turn off the smart speaker’s microphones by electronically disconnecting them.
