Tap on an artist whose sound you enjoy — say, Chaka Khan — and the display will show the musicians who influenced her (Billie Holiday, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Wonder and Etta James), her peers (Donna Summer, Maze, the Ohio Players and Patti LaBelle) and her followers (Janet Jackson, Erykah Badu, Mary J. Blige and Beyoncé). Now you have the names of almost a dozen additional singers whose music may have a similar sound that you’ll enjoy.
