Maren Morris and Gabby Barrett will not appear at the CMT Music Awards tonight (09.06.21).
Country Star was scheduled to perform at a ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee, but was forced to withdraw at the last minute.
Malen, who was planning to sing “Line by Line” at JP Saxe, cited “schedule conflict” as the reason for having to cancel his appearance.
The 31-year-old star told fans in an Instagram story:
“I know @jpsaxe will beat it and I’m really looking forward to his album coming out soon!”
Ingrid Andress will join JP instead.
Gabby, who was duet with Lady A and Carly Pearce, will be replaced by Lindsay El.
The 21-year-old singer said she couldn’t attend due to “personal circumstances.”
She told Instagram, “I’m really sad to share that I can’t perform with @ladya and @carlypearce at the @cmt Music Awards on Wednesday for personal reasons! Incredibly talented candidate And performers! Thank you for your support.
Both artists have been nominated for Women’s Video of the Year, and Malen is a candidate for the Video of the Year and the Collaborative Video of the Year.
