A North Texas man bought a signed Taylor Swift guitar at a charity public sale and proceeded to destroy it in what was apparently a political protest in opposition to the singer’s help of Kamala Harris.
In response to WFAA Information, the person bought the guitar for $4,000 throughout an public sale held on the Ellis County Wild Sport Dinner in Waxahachie, Texas on Saturday. Video of the incident, which has since gone viral, exhibits the person strolling as much as the guitar and continuing to smash it with a hammer.
A spokesperson for Ellis County Wild Sport instructed WFAA instructed the person’s actions weren’t “meant to be imply or malicious. He was simply making a lighthearted assertion exhibiting disapproval of individuals within the leisure trade attempting to affect politics.”
“It was only a humorous factor that occurred at our annual occasion.
