The new Amazon Music production will consist of interviews with different international artists, who will also have the opportunity to perform their greatest hits.
In the first episode of “Pesero Show”, the Puerto Rican will talk about his long musical career and how Mexico has influenced his growth, Amazon said in a press release.
In the show, Chayanne walks the streets of Mexico City as he tells his story and sings his best songs, while meeting some local fans.
“We wanted to find a way to connect artists of international stature with Mexico and by doing this exercise with the team we came up with a phrase that is the one that governs this project: how do we help our artists who visit Mexico or artists who are in Mexico to be chilangos for a day, but Mexicans for life,” said Paul Forat, Head of Amazon Music in Mexico in an interview with the newspaper El Sol.

Viewers of the program will be able to see Chayanne dance his choreographies and surprise several quinceañeras at the Angel de la Independencia, in the central Paseo de la Reforma Avenue.
“All the chapters have that magic of unpredictable things and planned things,” said Forat, explaining that the logistics of the program varied as the program was filmed with each of the artists.
In addition to Chayanne, other artists that will participate in “Peseros Show” are Matisse, Kenia Os, Camilo, Ha Ash, Gera Mx and Måneskin.
The chapters will be available starting January 26th on Amazon Music’s YouTube channel, all hosted by Pame Voguel. A new chapter will be released every 15 days and so far the production does not rule out a second season.
