It’s that time of year again—Amazon Prime Day 2021 is here.
The eCommerce holiday kicked off this morning, providing eager shoppers with deals on a multitude of items from TVs to robotic vacuums. Prime members also have the option of getting Amazon Music Unlimited for four months free.
If you’re new to Prime Day, here’s a little summation of how it goes: Amazon Prime Day is only available to Prime members, i.e., those who pay $12.99 a month (or $119 a year) for the premium service. If you’re willing to court a Prime membership without actually committing to it, you’re in luck, as the company offers a 30-day free trial for you to test things out.
Now, back to Prime Day: shoppers who partake in this splurging holiday not only get the in on a ton of deals, but also free shipping, free returns, and other perks such as discounts at Whole Foods.
With regards to Amazon Music Unlimited specifically, Prime members for a limited time only get access to the full Amazon 70-million-songs music library for free for four whole months (nonmembers only get three). This promotion is also only available to new subscribers to Amazon Music Limited.
As soon as those four months are up, the subscription will automatically be charged at $7.99 a month for Prime members ($9.99 for nonmembers) plus tax. If you’d like to continue with it by the time the deal’s done, wonderful; if not, feel free to cancel any time.
