While Spotify and Apple Music suck up most of the attention in the world of streaming music, do not discount third place Amazon Music which has stealthily gathering market share, largely because of its connection to Alexa devices.
Amazon’s latest trick is something called “DJ Mode,” which looks and feels suspiciously like what terrestrial radio has been doing for about a hundred years. I quote: “On-demand listening experience that combines the personalisation, control, and breadth of catalog of streaming with the vibrancy and personality of DJ-hosted radio”. Uh-huh.
