While the squad is all about intense beats and quirky rhymes, this crew also knows how to drop some sick bars. 4. Corner Café Chronicles

Mumbai electro psych-rock band Corner Café Chronicles, consisting of vocalist-guitarist and synth player Chinmay Patkar, drummer Parth Malhotra, bassist Soumitra Vichare and guitarist Swanand Thakur, delivered quite the EP last year in the shape of the six-track Renaissance. The band have catered to a wide audience by filling the record with raging rock riffs, fiery solos, ambient sections, funk and more. There’s some spoken word thrown in too. The group is now preparing to follow this up with Renaissance II, which is set to be a departure in sound.
5. Drum Ani Bass

Mumbai drummer Dhir Mody and bassist Nathan Thomas’ live electronica duo Drum Ani Bass released their debut seven-track album 1403 at the end of last year. The pair, who have been performing live for a while now, showcase their dexterous musicianship by blending various styles of electronic music such as dub and jungle and even experiment with jazz on the LP.
